Chocolate Mint Blankie

Wazzat? Another blankie for Handmade Hugs? Well ok!

This time I matched chocolate brown and light green mint from the bundle of yarn the ladies gave me, and came up with this pairing: chocolate chip mint.

The pattern is a small version of the Purl Bee's granny stripe blanket and the edging from Creative Jewish Mom's starburst baby blanket.

It was very, very fast to do - a couple of nights backstage at the theatre and it was done.

I love how it turned out. So does my hubby - he wants to keep it for himself!

It's not too very big, but cozy enough for your lap, or a crib, in the car or for a newborn.
