We are just heading into summer here, but in the winter we just had I forgot to check the back of my wardrobe for my nice jumpers. I've been wearing the old ones and wishing I had something new to wear. Found them about 2 weeks ago! LOL

This month, 43 people entered to win my Lion. That was a combination of people who follow my blog, and people who "liked" or commented on the posting on Facebook. So I entered 1 to 43 here (we are high tech, people!), and it spat out number 8. And number 8 is: Keri Smith! A Different Winner

Ok, this post is supposed to be about my March Giveaway Winner, which I promise I will blog about soon. But this is important -  a different kind of winner!

Some weeks ago, my hubby was on The Golf Channel's website, looking at golf-type stuff (he golfs, I don't). He entered to win an iPad, and then promptly forgot all about it. Then someone emailed him, but it went to his junk mail. He then started receiving calls from an out of area number - it was them, telling him that he won! He had to notarize some documents, wait 4 to 6 weeks, and endure a lot of scoffs from skeptical people who thought he was getting scammed. But lookie what came in the mail today:

It's not the new generation iPad, but who cares, it was FREE! We always said an iPad is the perfect thing to win - it's something you want but can't necessarily justify spending the money on. I think we'll get along just fine :)
