A Different Winner

Ok, this post is supposed to be about my March Giveaway Winner, which I promise I will blog about soon. But this is important -  a different kind of winner!

Some weeks ago, my hubby was on The Golf Channel's website, looking at golf-type stuff (he golfs, I don't). He entered to win an iPad, and then promptly forgot all about it. Then someone emailed him, but it went to his junk mail. He then started receiving calls from an out of area number - it was them, telling him that he won! He had to notarize some documents, wait 4 to 6 weeks, and endure a lot of scoffs from skeptical people who thought he was getting scammed. But lookie what came in the mail today:

It's not the new generation iPad, but who cares, it was FREE! We always said an iPad is the perfect thing to win - it's something you want but can't necessarily justify spending the money on. I think we'll get along just fine :)
