When Wesley was over last week, I discovered he loves Angry Birds. Really, who doesn't?! I found an old red bird in my stash of finished goods, and he loved it. He asked for a few more characters, how could I refuse him??

Hello blue birds

I made a set of blue Angry Birds! I used to make these all the time, until Etsy shut me down due to licensing problems.

A friend of mine has a son, for whom I have made many Angry Birds. He has a friend who loves the blue birds, so I whipped these up. I'm glad I still remembered the pattern!

Movember

Oink slurp

I had a little coffee situation yesterday. There was no coffee and - for reasons I won't explain here - I couldn't make another pot. I was on the verge of RAGING. I need my coffee, I love my coffee, oink, oink, slurp, slurp!

Noah's birthday presents

Here are somethings you need to know about my nephew Noah: He turned 5 this month and he loves the colour red. So I made him a Red Angry Bird and a Red Robot for his birthday. That made him happy.

So he made me take pictures of him jumping off the couch. Boys, I tell ya!

A little later, I found his robot on the kitchen table covered in flour - alone and perhaps forgotten.

Then my sister sent me this picture of Noah, snuggled in bed with his new buddy. Tee hee, looks comfy!

Wedding Birds

A friend of a friend of mine is getting married this weekend! The bride loves Angry Birds and her wedding colors are bright pink and green. So she asked for a custom order of pink and green Angry Birds for the bridesmaids. The one on the far right is for the bride - I ran out of pink yarn (why does that always happen?!) so she gets a regular red bird with green and pink hanging loops.

Pig power

I'm patiently awaiting the next Angry Birds update. The Summer picnic basket seasons version only gives you one game a day...I want more...!

I miss them piggies

I've been playing a lot of Angry Birds Rio. It's still fun but - and I never thought I'd say this - I miss the piggies!

I'll be flying out to NYC tomorrow - the big apple, here I come! AB Rio will keep me busy on the plane, hehe!
