About Me
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm a knitter, crocheter and lover of all things yarn from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I taught myself how to crochet when I was in 15 and made little things to give away as gifts. A couple years later, I taught myself how to knit, and stuck to knitting for quite some time. Now I do both, but am mainly back to crocheting little amigurumi animals. I've been making up patterns too, mostly of Angry Birds and teapots.

Follow me on my yarn adventures as I attempt to use up my stash, one lonely yarn ball at a time.

(I also sing and perform in and around Vancouver, which is the reason for this fancy headshot.)

About Bluey
Bluey is an amineko - a crocheted cat using amigurumi techniques. I used this pattern as a reference when I made him many years ago, but have since made many other cats adjusting the pattern as I go along. He's a skinny little guy, perfect for traveling. In the picture up there in the header, he is sitting on the window sill of a bed and breakfast in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. He's very zen, as you can see.
