It's December

Happy December 1st! It's cold around here, so I've been making snowmen. Not out of real snow, thank goodness. I found this video on Facebook, and snapped this screen shot - aren't they cute, those fat snowmen?

It was the perfect project for these old cashmere sweaters I've been hoarding. I haven't managed to felt them yet, but I cut the sleeves off of one white sweater, sewed the tops and bottoms, and formed them into snowmen. They are filled with flax seeds and rice. I glued on some buttons, and some beads for the eyes. Then I crocheted them each a hat and a scarf. I think they turned out ADORABLE!
