Orchids

Last week we attended a lunch hosted by the Grad Student Society at UBC. Their building is very close to Theatre and Film, and has a lovely view.

The lunch was yummy - a Mediterranean spread.

And as a thank you gift for all the work we do with them, they gave us each a lovely orchid!

It's sitting on my desk right now, but will soon sit on my desk in the Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies (CENES). Yes, I am moving jobs! Still at UBC, still in the Arts - CENES is a small department, and I will be the Administrator over there. I start in a week and while I am sad to leave this department, I will truly always have theatre in my life. And I'm starting a new journey, wish me luck!
