It's nice and quiet at work these days, since there are not many students around. I took one of my puzzles to work and did a bit every day on my lunch break. I just love puzzles :)

Summer puzzle
Isn't this the perfect summer puzzle? And it looks lovely with the sun streaming through my curtains.

In case you were wondering...
…I still like puzzles!
This one I did at my mom's dining table, while listening to some TED radio hour podcasts.
Oooh a picture of a sleepy town somewhere in France. Take me away!

More puzzle fun
A few weeks ago I went to a fair for my nephew's school. They had all kinds of food, games, music - and a big ol' flea market! As you know, I love puzzles. So when I saw this, I grabbed it right away.
Look at that, TEN puzzles for $5! And Thomas Kinkaid - oooh ahhh! But I thought, how good could it be, buying used puzzle sets? Would all the pieces be there? I took it to the counter to ask, and found out that everything was half off. TEN puzzles for $2.50?? SOLD!
I did the first one - quick and easy, only 100 pieces. And look! All the pieces were there. What a deal!

Puzzles
Here's something you didn't know: I like puzzles! There's something so satisfying about each little piece clicking into place. I don't, however, like big puzzles that take over my life. So when I saw these at Michael's, I knew they were perfect for me:
Did I mention they were 3 bucks! And wait - on sale for 97 cents! I BOUGHT FOUR OF THEM!
Only 300 pieces, so won't overtake my table for too long |
The pieces are teenie, so the finished puzzle is only about 16 x 20 |
And the pictures are nice! |
All done - took me less than a day |
(I did another one right after...I really like puzzles!) |
