Now this blue penguin has a friend! I just love this pattern, so quick and easy.

Perfect Slouchy Hat

Ages ago I made this perfect slouchy hat from this Lion Brand pattern, but that I found through All About Ami's post here. It is fast, easy and really has the perfect amount of slouch.

Then my sis requested one in black. So I whipped one up in under an hour.

I made it longer, as Ami suggested, and you can fold the brim up.

Look at that perfect amount of slouch back there!

Hello there, penguin! I'm working through the stash of yarn that Beth gave me, which included some black and white aran wool. I found this pattern from the Lion Brand website, that was quick and easy to make. It turned out a little smaller than what I expected, but he's still pretty cute.

Vanna's Choice Contest - next round

I posted back in January about Lion Brand's Vanna's Choice contest, and posted a pic of my palette. I designed a Spaceship Play Set, and guess what, the judges picked it to go on to the next round!
