I have dabbled in meditation here and there, as you may recall. I continue to lead session with a group of staff at UBC from the library, which has been a lot of fun.
Since my Pa passed away, I have been trying to meditate more. Not to find material to lead my sessions, but more in my personal life. It has helped a lot, to quiet my thoughts and deal with the pain of loss.
I have re-downloaded this app, the Insight Timer, which I had heard about a couple years ago. It's been great - there are many playlists with guided meditations, talks, podcasts, and tips and techniques. You can also just set a length and use as a timer. It has been a really good motivator for me.
