Halloween Leftovers

I had Halloween leftovers for breakfast this morning.

And I got some mini chocolate bars in the mail!

Ghost lights

We didn't get up to much this Halloween. I missed having all the little (and big!) kids knock on our door, but didn't miss the stress of trying to make all the candy last.

I was busy doing tech stuff for Ghosts all weekend. Don't the theatre lights make the place look ghost-y?

Spooky fall

It's fall in YVR! I took a picture of these lovely trees but it turned out blurry, and a little spooky.

And here's something really spooky - my  mom's apartment lobby. It's almost Halloween!

Don't you just love autumn? I put my fake pumpkin on our table, since I don't think we will get trick or treaters this year.

Fall is definitely in the air. And beside my coffee.

Halloween 2015

We survived Halloween, as Frida Kahlo and 80s rapper dude.

We ran out of candy so early this year. I love how more and more kids are coming out. Then we hit up a house party. Look at these funny apple treats! I didn't save a lot of candy for myself, which is good news.

It's Halloween soon, so I should be getting used to all the pumpkins and decorations. But this one literally scared me silly - he looks ready to pounce and eat my brains!

Crocheted Minion Hat

My niece wants to be a minion from Despicable Me for Halloween. On Sunday she requested (demanded, really) a hat. I found many pictures on Pinterest and came up with this:

The hubby is my go-to model - hats always look so good on him. Me? Not so much. In any case, it was a pretty simple crocheted beanie pattern in hdc. The eyeball was my favourite part. I left the hair long so she could cut it to her liking. Yay Halloween!
