Maiko's 40th bday

Jim, Maiko and Chibi were up visiting from San Diego.

We celebrated Maiko's 40th birthday!

Chibi was quite excited about it, as you can see.

Happy birthday Noah

Oh boy, someone is 11 years old - how did that happen?

We had dinner for Noah at Red Robbins, where they serenaded him with a birthday song.

I made him this awesome candy bouquet.

But he had to do a scavenger hunt to get to the prize.

I had a bunch of clues for him to solve, and he got the goods.

Here he is, hiding away with his candy haul.

And then we had ice cream cake. Because it's the best.

And here is a picture of his little sister Leyna, because she has to be included too!

Brianna is 17

My little niece is not so little anymore - Brianna turned 17!

Guess who was in charge of the cake? ME!! A strong muscle man for my strong niece!

Leyna's 7th Birthday

My niece Leyna turned 7 last week! Here she is, in her cheer team outfit!

And here she is again, being more serious than me.

We went to the Old Spaghetti factory to celebrate.

Birthday

Twas my birthday yesterday! I started if off with having cake for breakfast.

Then it was a busy day of rehearsals but look, we got some blue skies in the afternoon.

Then I finished it off with free breakfast for dinner, from Denny's!

I have such different birthday priorities as I age - mostly they revolve around food!

Happy birthday to my hubby! We both had busy days, so we made sure to celebrate lots this past weekend.

We did manage to meet up late in the evening for a celebratory beer :)

Happy 70th Birthday, Pa

Cheers to a wonderful guy. Yesterday would have been my Pa's 70th birthday. We love you Pa, and miss you so much.

More of Ma's birthday

We did some more celebrating for my mom's birthday on the weekend.

We had dinner at the Thai House.

And then invited my family over to our new apartment for the first time, for some cake! It was great fun and they all liked the new place too!

Today is my Ma's birthday! My sisters treated her to afternoon tea.

And a nice dinner out.

And we are doing more eating and celebrating this weekend too!

Happy 10th (!!) birthday, Noah

My nephew Noah is 10! His birthday was last week, and we celebrated at Red Robin.

We're having another barbecue this weekend, with his school buddies.

I took a customary selfie with him. And Leyna had to get in on the fun too, of course.

I always look goofier than the kids.

The birthday celebrations continue! Here's my with my friend's dog, Chip!

We had a read through for a new project I'm working on (more on that later), and the director and team got me a cake! CAKE! With sparklers!

This weekend I am celebrating with my family, so there will be even MORE birthday celebrations :)

Birthday fun at River Rock

Last Friday was my birthday! We decided to celebrate at the River Rock Hotel and Casino. We got the romance package, it was lovely!

We partied with our family and friends down in the casino - drank a bit, danced a bit, gambled a bit! Here's the hubs, looking pensively out our window the next morning.
