Faked goods

Under the Same Sky has closed, but I wanted to share one last pic. Here are some fake bakery goods, made by fellow cast mate, set designer, and props designer, Peggy. Yes, she was very busy. Don't those goodies look tasty and real!?

And another closing

And there ya go, Under the Same Sky has closed! It was only on for a week, but it was a very fun experience. I do love working on new musicals. And look, here is Helen, the composer of the show. Her husband Alastair writes the book and lyrics. They are such a sweet couple and it was a joy working with them. Until next time!

Another opening

Tonight we open Under the Same Sky, the latest show I've been working on. Here's one of my signs, in action:
And some other cool pics that we have up as set dec:
And a very cool jukebox! The show takes place in 1964, so you gotta have a jukebox.

Dirty Flutie

My poor flutie has been neglected lately, since I've been trying my hand at violin. But I got her all polished up, since I might have to play her a little bit for Under the Same Sky. I'm so glad past me learned to play the flute, and I hope future me can play the violin as well as I do the flute.

Under the Same Sky

I have started rehearsals for my first show of 2016: Under the Same Sky.
It's an original musical - I'm always excited to work on new material. The people involved are all lovely, and I'm happy to be back in the swing of things. We open at the end of April, for one week only. Yay theatre!
